My first impression, when Emma and Charlotte came to meet me and my sister, was that they were warm, friendly, caring and professional. They talked us through the way the care package worked and answered my concerns, such as 'what if something happens and a carer can't come at the last minute?' They immediately put my mind at rest by saying, 'one of us will come in their place, don't worry!' They also reassured my sister by suggesting activities and matching carers to her interests.
The service that they provide has enabled me to return to my job in teaching, knowing that my sister is in good hands. I was worried that there would be a succession of new faces every week (which would be confusing for her) but I was reassured this wouldn't happen so we have three carers who rotate. They are all so kind and go the extra mile when it's needed and they have initiative. I have good communication with them and if there are any issues I leave a note and vice-versa. The care package has worked better than I dared hope.
